AP Psychology:

Complete reading The Prologue,  Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.  Be prepared for a quiz on Monday, September 4 on  the Prologue.  Outline the Prologue using the outline format given in class.  You may use your outline on the Prologue quiz.  See this blog for Outline format.  YOUR OUTLINE MUST BE TYPED OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT ON YOUR QUIZ!

 World History:

Complete reading and outlining Chapters 1 and 2  based on outline format-see the format linked to this blog.    Pay special attention to the bolded terms.  Bring your outlines to class. You will have a quiz on identifications and terms from both chapters where you will test your outline's effectiveness on Monday, September 4.  YOUR OUTLINES MUST BE TYPED OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THEM ON YOUR QUIZ!


AP Art History:

Read the introduction in your book.  Take notes on all the Art Analysis terms.  You will have to define these terms for quiz by early next week. On Tuesday, September 5th you need to bring a ONE PAGE TYPED art analysis on an piece of art of your choice.  Your analysis should be two pages maximum, double-spaced, and use all of the art terms of analysis outlined in the Introduction.  See the Introduction and Chapter 1 Pictures linked to this blog.

MUN Activity:

Pick one Chinese news show and analyze it for the following:

1.  Setting, look of presenters
2.  Choice of subjects
3.  Hidden metaphors or "spins" designed to attract an audience.

Type your analysis.  It should be double-spaced, 1-2 pages long.  This assignment is due: Tuesday September 5.
