Exam Review Guidelines

World History

Use the sample exam to review two subjects:  Indentured Servitude and the American Trade Triangle in the 15th-16th centuries.   Also review the history of the Tokugawa Shogunate.

European History


Review the Notes on on the French Revolution.  Be prepared for a French Revolution DBQ


Art History:


Review the sample exam.  Study the review Exam picture file, and pick one self-portrait of  your own to contrast with the Rembrandt self-portrait.

Reading Tasks:


World History:  Read through Chapter 25.

European History:  Read through Chapter 25.

Art History:  Read through Chapter 12.

Assignments: September 21-September 28, 2009

World History:


Due Monday September 21:

Summarize your second document packet using the same questions used in last week's assignment.

Due Wednesday  September 23:

Identification quiz on Chapter 2 bold terms, using the same criteria as Quiz 1's identification quiz.

Due Monday September 28:

Review packet of practice AP questions-DUE-you will have practice quiz in class.

European History:

Due Monday, September 21:   Summarize one document in the Renaissance Document packet.

Make sure you do the following:

1.  Give a date
2.  Summarize the purpose of the document.
3.  Summarize the historical uses of the document.
4.  Describe the significance of  the document.


Type the answer-double-spaced, 1-2 pages.


Due  Thursday,   September 24:

Identification quiz on the Renaissance.  See terms at the end of Chapter 13.


Be prepared to do the following:

1.  List the date
2;. Who or what the item is.
3.  Why the item or person is important.

Due Monday, September 28:

Write a document summary of one of the documents in the Reformation packet.


Art History:
Due Tuesday, September 22:

Visual quiz on Greece on the pictures covered on Thursday September 17, and Friday September 18.  See the Visual image file we compiled in class. 

Due Tuesday, September 29:

Quiz on Greek temple vocabulary-Explain one Greek sculptural technique in detail.



Reading Tasks:

World History:

Read through Chapter 6 in Unit 1 and Chapters 9-13 in Unit 2.

European History:

Make sure you have skimmed Chapters 10-12 and that you have read Chapters 13-15.

Art History:

Make sure you have read through Chapter 3.
